In the last few weeks, Matthew has been having problem sleeping at night. It has to do with his ongoing cough, in the middle of his sleep, he’d cough and awaken – sometimes he can fall asleep again by himself but at other times he’s fully awake and cries in frustration. This affects Lina badly as she’s sleeping with Matthew. Both of them hasn’t been able to sleep well at all.

I suppose I could sleep with Matt instead of Lina but whenever Lina left, Matt started to cry, and also related to his cough again – when he cries too much he would throw up.

And that’s what happened just now. He wanted Lina’s attention but Lina was busy so I took him to my room, he cried and threw up. Just the unexpected hectiness on Friday night before I have to go to Bible Study. So frustrating, especially as we are all sick as well. Sometimes it feels like we are being held hostage by the children.

Need to pray for patience and less selfishness and willingness to persevere.

Lina just said – no more children!
